Who I Am

When I was growing up, I used to sit for hours flipping through my mother’s anatomy textbooks. At the same time, I was spending all my free time drawing anything and everything. I ended up going to school for biology and illustration in Boston at Suffolk University where I got my bachelors. After that I hopped over to Scotland to get my masters in Medical Art at the University of Dundee.

With my knowledge of art and design, I’ve been working as a freelance graphic artist during and since my education. Based in New York City, I find inspiration everywhere. The city is saturated with noise, colors, and style. I take cues from the people I see on the street, and then I use what I know about aesthetics to tie the images I create all together. For me, there is never a blockage of mental creativity, as long as I remember to look around.
